"There is no failure except not trying again." - Elbert Hubbard
Hello Reader!!
I hope all is well this week :)
This is the last blog on the course on Listening For Academic Purposes. It doesn't feel like we have gone through so many meetings and different types of assignments and different levels of difficulty. here I will tell you about the final test given for the final exam of this course. We are given 3 different types of questions and each level in my opinion is getting more difficult.
The last meeting, for part A questions like the types of questions we worked on before, this part is quite easy because we have got the same types of questions. But I felt that the time given was insufficient, I don't know why, but with 40 minutes for 30 questions of that type less, so I collected them at the last second. but I am grateful that I got a good score in one try. Furthermore, the Part B question consists of 8 questions, but has a slightly longer text than before so I have to listen to the audio 2-3 times to remember the points asked from the question. for the last part or part 3 it has 12 questions with the same time and a long question too, I repeated it once because there was a question that I doubted the correctness of the answer I chose and it was true that the question was wrong because when I repeated it by answering the same answer and only change the answer that I think is doubtful, it seems correct because the value has increased from before and there is still one question which I do not know where the error lies at that time.
Thankyou to Miss Novi for teaching us, especially me in this Listening For Acedemic Purpose course, I hope all the lessons given can be remembered and used well in the future.
Thank you for reading my blog to the end.
See you on the next blog...
